ECREA Women’s Networks welcome all colleagues to participate in the network’s II International Workshop: /Sharing Experiences /on 16-18 November, Tampere, Finland. The workshop welcomes papers of empirical as well as of theoretical studies on equal opportunities, policies and practices that have, if possible, a comparative, intercultural approach. Papers that concern communication studies of any kind and reflect research processes from a gender perspective are also warmly welcome.
The workshop /Sharing Experiences/ will discuss the theories and practices of gender discrimination that stereotypically operate in the academic world and help explain the situation of women in many European universities, as well as share the equality enhancement measures that have been implemented to promote the advancement of women in academic careers.
